Registration Worries, No More!

Registration is still open! The current deadline for signing up will be January 31st. 

The registration process is run through Eventbrite this year. While this is different than past APVMA Symposium’s, EventBrite is cloud-based and will not crash.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PAY YOUR APVMA CLUB DUES BEFORE REGISTRATION! Your APVMA Club number will be used to access your symposium ticket so it imperative that your club dues are paid! 

Registration will still be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, but each Pre-Vet Club will be limited on the maximum number of students they are allowed to bring. Each Pre-Vet Club will be alloted a MAX 20 STUDENT REGISTRANTS.  There will be a waitlist that opens when 725 students have registered. This is not the maximum amount of students that can attend symposium! It is likely that if you are put on the waitlist that you will be taken off of it and be able to register. You will get an email from Eventbrite that will tell you a spot opened up and that you need to register. Please note that club advisors should register as advisors (not students) by using their APVMA code number with the letter “A” at the end.

Continuing on, registration will be a two-step process. First, when registration opens on Eventbrite each Pre-Vet will need to use their APVMA Club number as an access code to reveal the tickets. Once revealed, students will need to complete the necessary registration questions and submit their forms. After completion of the registration form, each registered student will need to send a check. It is highly preferred that each club send in one inclusive check for all of their members attending, but individual checks will also be accepted. If sending one check please indicate what club members it is for. Once received, each student will get a confirmation email from PSU’s registration committee confirming that their check has been processed and they have completed the registration process for the 2019 APVMA symposium. 

Cost of the 2019 APVMA Symposium will be $140 per Student Registrant and $70 for Advisor Registrants

Due to our Student Affairs, refunds are very difficult for us to issue after your check has been processed and deposited. A full refund request can be made until January 1st 2019, after that there will be no refunds. Please make sure to email ( if you need a refund or are financially difficulties that may limit your ability to pay for symposium.
